Zeytuntsyan, Perj

Born - 18.07.1938 in Alexandria (Egypt).
1948 - repatriated to Armenia. Graduated from the Pyatigorsk Institute of Foreign Languages, Russia. Later has graduated from the Advanced Courses for Screenwriters in Moscow. 1956 - his first collection of works was published ("His First Friend"). He is the author of many plays, some of which have been translated into different languages, were published and staged in many countries. 1965-68 - worked as a script editor at Armenfilm, 1968-75 - chief editor at Yerevan Studio of TV films. 1975-86 was secretary of Writers' Union of Armenia, 1990-91 - Minister of culture of Armenia.
