Atamantov, Lev
Born - 21.02.1905 in Moscow. Died - 12.02.1981 in Moscow.
1926 - graduated from the First State Cinema School in Moscow (L.Kuleshov's master-class). One of the founders of the Soviet cartoon animation and the founder of Armenian animation cinema. Among the most notable films shot in Soyuzmultfilm Studio, Moscow, are the following: "A Tale About the White Steer" (1933), "Scarlet Flower" (1952), "Golden Antelope" (1954), "Snow Queen" (1957), "Ballerina on the Ship" (1963) and others.
