Mirakyan, Armen

Born - 15.02.1938 in Yerevan.
Worked as a assistant cameraman at Armenfilm Studio. 1962-66 - studied at the Cinematographer Department of the Moscow High Film School, VGIK. Since 1966 - director of photography at Armenfilm, where he shot short and full-length feature films as well as the first Armenian puppet film. 1968 - directed his first documentary film "Armenia's Stones" which was followed by many others. Has shot 9 feature films, 3 puppets and more than 30 documentaries.
