Babayan, P. Rafayel

Born - 11.08.1927 in Yerevan. Died - 12.02.1998 in Yerevan.
1949 - graduated from the artistic department of VGIK, and animating courses of "Soyuzmultfilm" (Moscow). 1950 - art director of Yerevan Young Spectator Theater, 1950-52 - art director of Puppet Theater. Since 1953 worked at Armenfilm. In 1960-s along with V.Podpomogov and S.Andranikyan revived the Armenian animation film.
