Arutchyan, Mikayel

Born - 18.07.1897 in Shushi (Karabagh). Died - 09.06.1961 in Moscow.
Graduated from the gimnasy in Baku. 1919 -graduated from the Arts and technical workshop in Saratov (Russia). 1919-20 - participated in the Russian civil wars. 1921-23 - studied at Law department of Berlin University; in 1924-25 - at Kolorossi academy in Paris. 1925 - moved to Armenia. One of the founders of Armenian stage design. Worked also in the sphere of cinema.
