Born - 24.10.1929 in Stepanavan, died - 26.09.2013 in Yerevan..
1954 - graduated from the Yerevan Fine Arts and Theatre Institute .
1954- performed in the Sundukyan Drama Theatre of Yerevan. 1992 - established and headed "Hamazgain" Theatre. Since 1997 - rector of Yerevan Institute of Theatre and Cinema. Besides Armenian films has starred in a number of films made in other film-studios (for example in Mosfilm, in Tarkovsky's " Solyaris" and a speaker of documental film production "Matenadaran."
